Trelise Baker found 2nd Chance Living PMI in 2017. She serves as President and is dedicated to providing resources and advocacy for women who have been in the penal system and deserves support and resources to start again.
As a business owner and community leader, Trelise knows first-hand what it takes to lead and inspire women to be successful in life and work. She leads a dedicated staff and volunteers in planning the strategic focus for the organization’s program, fund development, and sustainability.
Her education background included an Associate Degree from Lone Star College she also is attending school for her bachelor’s. She believes in not complaining about what needs to be done but focus on more on the outcome.
Through her work at Second Chance Living PMI, Erin has seen first-hand that empowering women can reduce recidivism in our communities by providing resources, mentorship, and advocacy for those women affected by incarceration. As Program Coordinator, Erin oversees the planning and coordination of the programs and their activities, supports the growth of the organization, and ensures that the daily operations of the programs run smoothly. She is a skilled trainer and facilitator with core competencies in strategic planning, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), and effective program management.
Erin has worked in the private sector as a Corporate Legal Assistant for over 25 years with combined experience in the areas of Family and Criminal Law.
Erin is a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Erin brings with her a passion for creative problem solving and building with integrity, and a deep belief in the power of women.
